Disneyland!

New Orleans Square: My favprite part of Disneyland
Oh yeah...it was "Gay Days" at Disneyland the last day we were there. I've never seen so many people at Disneyland at one time. It was interesting. We are definitely in the middle of a huge movement!

Brannon's Disney heros and Taj's too.

I told Bran that someday Taj is going to think we are so cool because we met Mater and McQueen!

The sourdough bread bowls and soup/gumbo is to die for! It is a must have at Disneyland!

You wouldn't believe the line that people stood in to take their picture in front of the Mickey Jack o'lantern! Standing this close was good enough for us!

Breakfast: a pumpkin muffin with cream cheese frosting, which I let Brannon eat. I don't do sugar in the morning, gives me the shivers!

We're standing on the Pier at California Adventure here.

I look at this picture and laugh because he wanted his picture by the "buck horns." His favorite parts of Disneyland included anything that was western and outdoors themed, go figure that...he is a country boy afterall:) I highly recommend going to a Bug's Life world and going to the 3D movie. It was surprisingly fun. If you have kids, they would love it, we did!

See that wicked roller coaster in the background? Brannon conned me into riding that thing twice! We also rode Tower of Terror, basically, we rode every ride in both parks while we were there. I'm just glad that neither of us get motion sickness because we were able to enjoy every ride! They have a new ride in California Adventure called Mulholland Madness, it's our favorite little roller coaster by far!

Your guess is as good as mine why he wanted a picture by the car and the ladies...men:)

The Haunted Mansion was all sorts of decked out, I love it!
You have got to have a pineapple float if you ever go to Disneyland. They are da bomb! You can find them in Adventure land and they're really not that expensive. Super refreshing on a smoldering hot fall day!

This made my whole trip! Princess Tiana is my favorite princess ever! I love her! She sounded just like she does on the movie too when she sings! I still get all giddy and excited when I look at this picture...if only I could have met her, that would have been the best! That little girly girl who' always dreamed of being a princess is still inside me:)

I still don't like this ride very much..."It's a Small World"

This year we took a mini-weekend vacation to Disneyland. We spent two days there this year, which is plenty if you ask me. I don't know how people spend a week there. There's plenty to do, but our feet and backs gave out about midmorning the second day we were there. I bet we walked at least twenty miles while we were there. I haven't been so sore and exhausted in a long time! It was so much fun though! It was Halloween at Disneyland, so a lot of the rides were altered for the occasion. I love, love, LOVE Disneyland. It's my favorite place to go in the whole world! I seriously felt like a kid again, and for once in a long time, I was carefree and the only thing I worried about was what ride we were going to go on next and where I could find a Mickey-shaped ice cream bar. We were going to take Taj with us, but we decided not to a couple weeks ago. We worried he would poop-out midday and that he might get sick from flying, so we left him with my parents. My parents made sure to spoil the heck out of him while we were gone, so at least he was still able to have plenty of fun even though he didn't get to go. Brannon and I rode all the kid rides in Taj's honor and the whole time we were like, "Taj would love this!" So we both ended up feeling sad that we didn't bring him because there is a lot for little kids to ride and do at Disneyland. So Taji is coming for sure next time! It was nice to just have some time with Brannon though and to not worry about watching Taj and making sure he's eating and fighting over who's turn it is to change a poopy diaper:) Thanks again Mom and Dad for taking Taj duty! They insist that they had more fun than us...haha, yeah right! They just haven't had little kids for awhile!
