Taj's latest fav toy, why buy any toys at all???
It's been way too long since I last posted and so much has happened, well at least so much has happened with Taj. He's already had another haircut and he's sprouting teeth faster than the hair on his head. He's got like eight teeth coming in and he is a totally different babe right now. He's super ornery and whiney and slightly bipolar....I just keep telling myself that this won't last long...hopefully;) He's also saying "mama," "baba," and "dada" (he's only said dada once and just to set the record straight, he said mama first). He's also figured out how to throw a tantrum to get what he wants. He already slaps my arm and screams when I get him dressed, very traumatic apparently. He's very close to crawling now. He can go from a sitting position to his belly and he kinda rocks back and forth like he's gonna take off, but then he just rolls over and cries because he can't figure out why he's not moving...it's pretty funny, poor guy, I know he'll catch on soon. Putting him to bed is a one hour ordeal too. He rolls around and around and kicks his legs and wacks his little "movie" screen (we call it his movie, but it's a fischer price gadget that helps him go to sleep) and basically tears his bed apart. I always come in his room to find a fuzzy head poking over the top of the railing. He tries to look through the rails to see what's going on...it's so cute:) He weighs about 20 pounds now and we're afraid that we may have to get him a helmet to help out his lumpy bumpy and flat head, amazing that it can be all three at the same time:( Other than that he's healthy as can be and bossing both me and Brannon around. Nothing new is going on with me and Brannon. He's still working and I'm still trying to figure out what to do with myself during the day when I'm not taking care of Taj. I did plant myself a little salsa garden, which is fun. I've never planted anything before, so I hope nothing dies. Brannon's dad brought some huge tubs and soil up for me and he even planted a lot of the stuff for me...he's awesome! Anyway, I plan on making this summer a good one, so I will definitely get on the stick about posting pics. HOpe everyone is having a good one so far!

Last weekend we headed to MOnticello for spring break...yeah I know that we don't get spring break anymore, but it was a good excuse to get out of the city for awhile. We spent some time at "the dunes" four wheeling on Saturday and even Taj enjoyed himself for most of the day:) Later that night Taj and I needed some pampering, so we headed down to the beauty shop and got our hair did;) Taj hated it and my experience wasn't the greatest either, but the results were great...ahhh it hurts to be beautiful! 
I know it's been forever since I last blogged, but hey, we are just not that interesting lately, so to spice things up a bit I bought Taj a cute little (it was waaay too small for him) St. Patrick's Day shirt. I nearly dislocated his shoulder putting it on...poor kid, but I managed to wrestle it on him. Thank goodness it'll come off a lot easier! We are going to get his first "official" hair cut in a couple weeks. I cut it once already myself a couple months ago...I just had to get rid of the mullet! The mullet, however is back and it is time for him to get a real haircut and for him to lose the nickname "mudflap." Plus I've had a couple people ask me how old "she" is. He looks like all boy to me, so I think the long hair can be deceiving. I'll post some pics of the new "doo" when we get it done. Taj by the way is growing so fast! He weighs about 16 pounds now and I had to buy 6-9 month onesies for him. I've been calling him Taj the Tank. He's figured out that he has fingers and toes and he found out he has another attachment, which thankfully stays covered up most of the time;) He's already turning into a true boy;} He is getting to be so much fun!
