Jinxed

Little Miss Haivi came wedding dress shopping last weekend and was a champ!

I think I jinxed myself telling everyone what a perfect little eater and sleeper our pretty princess was. She is still not liking her cereal or fruits or vegetables. It's more like a gag session every time I try to feed her, poor thing! I hope she acquires a taste for it soon! She is also now waking up about two or three times a night, which is more than she did as a newborn! I just keep telling myself to enjoy the moment because in a few months she will be eating and sleeping better (I hope)! She is still such a pleasant little thing though and just loves to be held and loved on, which of course is not hard for any of us to do:)

Super Hero

Not only does Taj have to have his hat and boots wherever we go, he has now added work gloves and his super hero mask from McDonald's to his look. Want to know what's really fun??? Trying to leave the house without every single one of those items! I am loving this dress up stage though. I can't help but laugh every time he dons the gloves, hat, mask, and boots. I think it looks even better with shorts! I try not to let him see me laugh though because he is very serious about his look. We get comments everywhere we go up here on Taj's hat and boots. Being a cowboy is a novelty up here and Taj always brings a smile to someone's face with his cowboy attire and his bowlegged cowboy strut. Everyone always says, "Hey cowboy!" It's kind of fun spreading a little sunshine wherever we go. It reminds me of the line from the song Give Said the Little Stream, "I'm small I know, but wherever I go the grass grow greener still." Wherever Taj goes, the grass does grow greener and I hope that I can do the same and spread a little more happiness and warmth wherever I go.
